Well if Verizon hadn't been so crazy to try to corn hole Apple over the features of the iPhone and cause Apple to walk from the discussions, it would be a nearly bankrupt AT&T with their nose pressed against the glass saying that the iPhone sucks...

I swore more when I found out that my Verizon phone with bluetooth would have more features on someone elses cell phone network and that the 'brain drain' at Verizon ordered certain features removed from the phone on their network! Yeah, Verizon has ZERO room to talk. They coulda had the iPhone... Hah!

Would love a larger screen if they can maintain the same body size. I have no interest in something like the giant PDA-sized Android phones.
I'm fine with the current screen - but wouldn't mind a bigger one, as long (as you said) the phone does not get any bigger. I don't want a phone that does not comfortable fit in my back pocket or any other small pocket I might have.

If there ever was a piece of software to love, this is it.
2001 was the year I built my first PC. I saved up my pennies as a bagged at the local grocery store and ordered my parts online from Tiger Direct. Wow, the times have certainly changed for me!
I could never go back. Nothing looks or runs as smooth as my ThunderBook! I just wish that I had been on board with OS X in 2001.
So only 6 more years until the 10th anniversary of iOS! Then I can brag about how I was there on day 1. June 29th, 6pm.

If you recall, at the 1-06 unveiling of the intel Macs (or maybe it was the conference call Q&A), Steve stated AMD made really good server chips, but Apple makes consumer products.
Perhaps Apple is doing an AMD based blade, or iTV, or some "appliance" product.
The rumour is unlikely to be true however.

Apple made a big mistake not licensing Mac OS 22 years ago allowing clones. Otherwise Mac OS X would be now the mainstream operating system.
Now history repeats. Apple has now the oppotunity to take over and beat Windows. But for that it is absolutely essential to allow Mac OS X to run on ANY PC out there.
Why does Apple make the same mistake?

But I will say. HELLO? WHERE WERE YOU IN 1997? Apple did license the MacOS. And it almost put them out of business.

The house is a little bigger than those drawings depict, as there are stairs leading to a downstairs that is not shown. Probably to the 5th bedroom that is mentioned, likely a downstairs guest room of sorts or something.
Agree with everyone else though. Simple, not over the top. I like.

I'm glad to see this DRM stuff getting hacked. I hate the DRM and would buy way more music, movies, and TV Shows from iTunes if there was no DRM in the files.

I'm aware of that ulbador, and my point is that like any other language.. you get better with time & practice. Nobody FORCES you or dejo to read my threads, or answer them. If you see lack of objective-C fundamentals, just go to another thread (for Pros), is that simple. Some people like to help, others laugh, others ignore you or get frustrated because they can't read ... who cares man, if you don't like the thread just go to another one but never try to discourage a person who's starting to learn, that I'm against.

Right. One of the problems people have when they try to predict what Apple might do is they assume the past = the future. "Oh, Apple only does yearly updates, so this rumor is impossible." Well, Apple does what it does . . . until it doesn't. They don't do books, but now they do. They don't do movies, but now they do, etc.
Apple is not a MacRumors poster stubbornly sticking to the only thing they know. Apple changes as market conditions change. If they think they can increase profitability and market share by making semi-yearly phone updates, they are going to switch to semi-yearly phone updates. Simple as that.
So a Q1 2011 Verizon phone is quite possible.

Firing incompetent teachers sounds like a great idea, but it doesn't require unions to be disbanded to achieve. The British teachers unions aren't that strong, and still we have huge problems getting rid of poor teachers.
Jail time for strikers is bizarre and totally unacceptable.
Additionally there is no way you can claim that it is a "individual liberty" position to hold to be for jailing strikers.

I find the comments and whining on this forum absolutely amazing. Surely a Windows forum would have fewer complaints about Apple.
I don't own an iPhone; I have no use for Time Capsule; and I don't want to rent movies. However, I am happy for those people who find these products useful.
I use my computer basically for email and writing reports (still doing them in Appleworks!), and I travel around a lot with my iBook. The MacBook Air really interests me. I don't need a powerful chip for that. I don't need a lot of hard drive space for that. For me, Air is quite tempting, although I might get a MacBook Black instead until the bugs are worked out of Air (price with 2 gigs is roughly the same for the two machines). I am prepared to pay the same for less because I know I am paying for the latest and new toys cost more.
It seems that many of the complainers expected Jobs to phone them first to ask what they wanted. They also want the very latest technology for very little money.

It can't be all metal. Otherwise it will have some serious signal issues.
Using aluminum would hinder the cellular reception wouldn't it ?
The plastic apple, plus using the new MBP strategy of putting antennas at the openings should do fine.
I call BS on this, Johnnie Ive wouldn't make a non rounded design like that, the lines are too harsh.
Looks *just* like the iPad - well except the bevels leading from the corners to the back look a little unrefined, leading me to think it could be a rendering. other than that, looks pretty spot-on. Personally, I think they are going back to Alu.

You won't be if Apple are increasing the bitrate of audio tracks as part of the update. It's about time they did.
Yeah, I'm sure he'll be delighted if his iPod suddenly has less capacity in exchange for a imperceptible improvement in quality. ;-)

I thought the best was the Mac Pro spec changes, I don't see why they did that last week? I though they were leaving space for some life-changing device, didn't happen.

Yeah. I am off to bed for 4 hours. iTunes will just be frustrating given its not going to be for us I think. Maybe there will be some juciy hardware in 4 hours or so.

You might get your facts right, too. This has nothing to do with Data Roaming. And I have been in foreign countries enough to know this fact.

My point is - that if the switch to turn off Data Roaming was the one that failed, people wouldn't be divided. I think pretty much everyone would point the finger at Apple for it's failure to QA the "off switch"
The Location Services on/off switch did not work. Period. And yet people want to make this about people not reading the EULA.
