I was in a similar situation.. not exaclty the same...
I had an approved I 140 and then I got the Notice of Intent To Deny, similar reason. This is what I did.
- I called my unversity and asked them to send me a detail syallbus of the courses I attended
- A letter from a third part evaluator
- An indetail letter from my HR as to what my courses where and how the courses pertain to my work.
- A detailed letter from the attorney.
looks like you do not have any thing to worry, if you took math courses and your syllabus states that then you should be ok. Make sure that you mention in very much detail and repetedly about the courses you took so that they wont miss it. Good luck I am certian you will be ok.

I'm considering relocating back to India after getting my EAD since I don't know how long it's going to take to actually get the I-485 approved. My questions are:
1) Is it possible to continue to keep my I-485 application active if I relocate to India and work at the India office of the same company that filed my green card?

yes, provided you stayed with this company for atleast 180 days and have another employer here with whom you are using AC21 (ie. he will provide a future employment letter to USCIS in case you get an RFE.
3) Lets say I move back to India after getting the green card, is it enough to simply enter the US once a year to keep my green card active? Can I apply for citizenship after 5 years of having the green card, even though I haven't resided in the US for those 5 years?

YOu will also typically apply for a re-entry permit when you leave like this for short-term to India. I believe REPs are granted for upto 2 years at a time. What you are trying here (stay outside the US for long periods after getting GC) is potentially risky for your GC.

I have flown KLM to India through Schipol (Sep 07) with an expired visa on my passport old passport and no visa on the new passport. Nobody asked me any questions.

Since i had to spend US $ 70 on passportport photos during july 2007 filing, i wrote my own app to format passport photos. some of my my friends and i used it for filing AP the last couple years. i can email it to any of you if you want it. just PM me.

No, MS+0 is still Job zone IV (SVP level 7: Over 2 years up to and including 4 years of "Specific Vocational Preparation")). How did you manage not to work for ABC if they processed visa for you? Why did ABC apply for your visa in first place if they had no work for you? You seem to have acquired H1B visa first and then you are looking for a job. Is it not a fraud? This is what anti-immigrants target and I don't disagree with them. There has to be a job position first and then there can be a visa associated with it, not the other way round. This is how people abuse the immigration system and then it becomes an easy target by anti-immigrants.

Your Approval Notice is sent to the attorny not to you.If the current one you have is original one from attorney then your wife has to out of country immediately and enter with I94 ...Please note I94 is the one that determines you status in this country...

You will have to file the WH-4 form to DOL. Please do the search in this forum/internet as this has been discussed many many times.
USCIS is cracking down on employers. Whether you are on project or not. Doesn't matter. Employer has to pay you or lay you off and provide ticket back home.
Once you file WH-4, ball is in the court of USCIS/DOL/Employer for unpaid wages.

My Employer is also threatning me that if I ask him for salary then he will lay me off and immediately send me back to India.

As msp1976 pointed out above, attached your 140 receipt and ask for three year extension.
Can extension for H1B be applied for three or one year if Labor is approved under PERM in a week and I-140 is applied and pending for approval.
