this is where i got most of them. and some other random sites but this has the best. they are just brushes. and you paint with them. there arent really any tutorials on making grunge at all. i found one once, but thats it. and it sucked i think. just play around, its fairly simple. this is like the 5th one ever made.

My I-94 has expired becoz it was issued up to my passport validity. If I have to renew it, is it a good option to cross border and get a new I-94, like going to Mexico or Canada. Please advice. I am not sure how to proceed. No one knows the procedure. Please if anyone knows, advice.
Do you have an unexpired visa? If so, just traveling out of US and coming back through port-of-entry should do the trick. For best results, try an airline travel. YMMV.

I got an update from my companies lawyer that my daughters application was returned as the cheque was not signed...I have a couple of questions to authenticate what she told me...
1. Could some one let me know what happens when 485 or any application is sent back. Do they send a notice why they sent it back?
2. Would USICS accept those applications again?
3. What is the time period they give for a response in a situation like mine?
4. What is the ramification of a application submission at a later date than that of the main application to USICS.

Situation :
My 485, 765, 131 applications reached USCIS on Aug 17th.
Soon after that moved to a different apartment in the same city. Updated US Post office for redirection of my mails to the new address. However, the address in the USCIS has not been updated.
on Oct 10th got the checks cashed for 485, 765 and 131
The address was updated in USCIS only yesterday (Oct 24).
I haven't got the reciepts yet and need to visit India on Nov 4th.
My questions:
1. Not sure if USCIS has already sent the reciept notices to my previous address. If they were sent to previous address will they be redirected to the new address or they will be returned back to USCIS?
2. Some one mentioned that mails from USCIS will not be redirected but will be returned back to USCIS. Is this true?

I have called the IRS for this scenario and the IRS rule is that the dependent has to be present in US for at least 180 days. Also they need to have an ITIN applied for (you can also apply for ITIN while filing your taxes).

So it's possible your case hasn't been inputted yet.
My situation is ok. It was my error in putting in wrong receipt number..i'm ok with 4 receipt numbers, 4 cases ap/ead/140/485. It's in god's hands as to RFE or rejection though that would be a pain for uscis to cash all 4 checks then to reject/refund.

Both Attorney and you will get the RFE letter. I also got the RFE letter.

I do worry about the stay here rightnow, I do not worry about when green card comes.
I do have family and have to take of many things since we are since 7 year in this country.
It would not be enough time to wind up everything in such a short period of time.
If you are talking about having vacation for 1 year in india and come back after 1 year, there are again 100000 people like me who wants to come back. So it is not simple to come back after you go out of this country, and even though they are going after foreign labor doing american jobs.
Even it will be the good to start GC process from the beginning from different company after H1 transfer and having continues stay rather than going back and finding another US employer. I do not know at this moment, how will that happend.
Anyways, once I go back than I would not like to come back and waste 10 years of my life to become citizen of different country. It is a total waste of time and money. anyways that is a diff story, we are not discussing that here rightnow.
I sent him an email and I will be filing WH4 with DOL if he does not reply.

Why would anybody ask for visa to issue a driver's license? How is one's driving privilege dependent upon visa? No one has ever asked me or my wife or my friends for a visa to issue a driver's license. Is this some law specific to some states?

In other words, they check for your immigration status.
There is even a "SAVE" program on other states which makes it difficult to renew. The SAVE program first verifies your immigration status with USCIS, and after being cleared, then DMV could renew your DL,

The question I meant to ask is about the the time that I am not physically present in US i.e. If I went for vacction in India for a month, can that one month be included in my H1B1 extension since I was not physically present in US. In other words I would file for 1.1 year extension as opposed to 1 year
One the same topic, a friend of mine got a three year extension post 6 years of H1B. When asked, his lawyer informed, if you have an approved I140 then you are elegible for 3 years extension as opposed to 1 year. Is this true. Can some refer to the right CFR's

For the first one, I don't think that is applicable. As to what I know it doesn't matter whether you left for 1 day, 2 mos or whatever, your expiration still stands and cannot be change. No rollover or so hence Sep. 07, 2009 still stands for you.

Hello folks -
I am currently working on H1B, and though against the rules of H1, I was doing side consulting work. As a result, I received a 1099 Misc form from the client for whom I was doing the work.
I reported the 1099 income on my Federal 1040 tax return. Now it's time to file the I-1485 with my current employer. My employer has requested me to submit my previous year tax returns along with other documents for the filing of the I-1485.
Do you think showing business income on form 1040 will have any impact on the processing of I-485?
Also, if anyone knows of a good immigration attorney I can consult with, it would be much appreciated.
