I filed I-140 at NSC on 07/27/2007 LUD - 01/02/2008, but my current case status reads as below
The I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. To receive e-mail updates, follow the link below to register.
The status doesn't specify the transfered location. Does anyone have a similar case status and know where the case could have been transfered. To me the obvious choice seems like TSC. Please correct me if my assumption is wrong, your input will be appreciated

What do you guys think? USCIS will listen whatever IV says? Also NSC received more applications than other service centers. So it is reasonable for NSC to be behind.

Me & my husband got our Birth Certificates in 2005 with all the correct birth details. Do you think we might still need affidavits for Late Registration of Birth?Please throw some light on this as there's lot of confusion going on this.

Hi All,
I used to commute across the border from Canada to work(on h1b) between 2004 and 2006. My passport was stamped just the first time and never after that.
I've heard of this behavior at PoE especially for Mexico and Canada.. I think we need to remind and ask for stamping.. even if they say its okay...
I landed in Canada in 2004 and came back in 2 weeks... My original I-94 had expired.. but I 'd new one on my new H1 approval.. So they gave me a new I-94.. My wife's I-94 was valid.. so she didn't get a new I-94... But her passport was stamped... May be because it was first trip...
I agree with gokhale35 to provide evidence from CC... but if its older than a year.. most CC bills won't be available... lease copy may be possible... I think affidavit plus letter from employer may suffice.. But a lawyer would be your best bet anyways...
Good luck... should be resolved soon.. and you'll get GC soon...

My case was approved yesterday. EB3/NSC - India - PD June 02 - RD April 04.

Friend of mine got her DL renewed for 1 yr based on EAD as her h1b extension is not approved yet.DMV ppl look at her EAD and renewed her DL for 1 yr without any questions. So i guess you are fine with yr DL extension for 1 yr. As per my understanding and some of the posts , i think you won't loose yr H1b status as you are not using EAD for employment. And answer to yr last question is my frd got her DL renewed in VA only. She got it at DMV on Gallows Road, VA (it's in Fairfax,VA). Hope this helps.

Agreed. I registered already on change.gov.
I voted on this. But I did not see any vote for elimination of country qouta in EB immigration system. We need that topic on change.gov and should vote heavily in favour of it.

2) Relief to backlogged EB/FB immigration - pork for us
3) Foolproof border security and enforcement of immigration law - pork for Antis
So it's a win win for everybody. We should support this march and show our solidarity to CIR.

Hi everyone,
I have a related question. I am a canadian citizen now and am still maintaining an H1b. My H1b stamp had expired in 2007 though.
I had applied for AP in january but its still pending at NSC.
Now I have to go to India for my brother's marriage.
My question to you all is-Since I am still on H1B (and If am not wrong, canadian citizens do not require H1B stamps)-- will it be ok if I travel without an AP.

We got the loan based on H1. Lender did not accept EAD and required GC or H1. Though, there was no issue in getting the best rate based on H1 since credit was good and other requirements also satisfied.
